Estonia

Being a very popular class in the 1980's interest went down later, but is re-ignited lately with the prospect of boats being build in Estonia as well.

Ireland

Since the late 2000's there is increased interest in OK dinghy sailing in Ireland when (2008) Olympic Finn sailor Tim Goodbody started an OK career.

Luxembourg

Luxembourg has never had many OK sailors due to the size of the country.
In the past two members of their Association travelled extensively to international events and it was their activity that led to national championships being organised.

South Africa

Unfortunately we don't know how many OK's are sailing in South Africa but they are mainly at Pretoria /Sailing club (PSC).

In 70's there were a lot of OK dinghies sailed in South Africa.

Switzerland

There used to be a relatively strong fleet in Switzerland until the first decade of the 2000's, mainly in the german speaking part of Switzerland. Contact the international secretary for contact details of Swiss ex-OK sailors if you are interested in sailing OK dinghy in Switzerland.

Thailand

Because the King of Thailand is a former OK sailor, there are many OK dinghies in the country. Most are owned by the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand.
The Hua Hin Regatta is held towards the end of each year and sailors from around the world are invited to compete, with charter boats available.
The 2013 Worlds, held at the Varuna Yacht Club in Pattaya, were a big success.
